My betta looks sad, altough i feed it ,change and treat his water,and always give him light! why is he sad?

My male guppie was alone for a long time, (2 weeks) Then I bought 2 females and he mated with them for like 3 days straight. Its been about two weeks not and hes been acting very strangely. He wont eat, Isolates himself, His eyes look darker, and his color looks brighter(color) and darker. Its been about 4 days of this, Im kinda surprised that he hasn’t starved. Should I kill him to put him out of what ever misery he might be going through. (cold water) or will he just snap out of it.
oh yeah and his mouth looks weird, muggy, or cottony, im not sure, just doesn’t look right.

If I buy 2 or 3 cool water fish (Chinese Hillstream Loach). How long can I keep them in the bag that the shop will give me? It’s probably going to be about 4 hours, if I get them.
I don’t believe most of the answers provided here, merited all the thumbs down. It’s not one of those sorts of questions, surely.

i have this little guppie in a big bowl in the kitchen, ive got the down lights on him so it will keep the water warm, ive but small stones and a moss ball in he is swimming around at least he is safe now, but have i saved him, will he be okay, ?

Ive noticed that my discus color have change to a darker color since I broght them home from the fish store. I was told they live in average 6.5ph water condition. I tried doing that several times but ph is still too high. Now water looks cloudy. Maybe I put too much of that PH down liquid but still too high. Does this have anything to do with my white sand? Maybe this white sand making my discus uncomfortable.
