Fish tank question regarding feeding?

I have four discus and 3 bottom feeder in my tank. I am going to leave for a month and have installed an automatic fish feeder and a timer for lights to go on and off. Nobody will be taking care of it and there will be no water change for a month. Is that fine or what should I do to make sure the fish will live?

Are yoyo and angelicus loaches hardy enough?

My new aquarium is cycling. I have 3 silver mollies, 1 yoyo loach and 1 angelicus loach. Do you thing that the loaches are hardy enough to survive through high concentrations of ammonia and nitrite while the aquarium is cycling? My aquariums is in the ammonia stage and it’s been at it for the past 2 weeks, i’ve been changing the water every other day when the ammonia is high. But i feel like with every water change i dont let the bacteria get to the nitrite stage and i want it at that stage. The tank is 20 gal. Is it a good idea to let the ammonia spike and not do water changes with the loaches in there. I know the mollies will survive but im not sure about the loaches. What do u think?

Getting ready to buy my first Silver Arowana today and …..?

…..I have a 55 gallon and a 220 gallon. The fifty five has housed two tiger Oscars and 1 large Pleco for quite some time. I have just finished cycling the 220 and have moved the two Oscars to there new home. A pet store local to me has some amazing 5-6 inch Arowana and I will be using the 55 that’s now empty besides the Pleco as a grow out tank. I have researched these fish quite thoroughly and was just wondering if anyone had any tricks for transporting these fish as they are quite fragile and sensitive. Also anything that i need to do besides a decent size water change and gravel vacuuming before i introduce this fish to its new home. Anything extra to take with me to the pet store due to the size of the fish? My water parameters are ideal and I’m really excited to have my big tank up and cycled, not to mention the Arowana was the whole reason for the purchase of the big tank. any help here will be appreciated deeply and most helpful gets 10 points.

Fish Tank Cycled yet? HELP PLEASE!!!?

I’ve had my fish tank set up for about 9 days now. When i first started the tank i put bacteria supplement and waterconditioner. Then 3rd day it fogged up and its been clear for about 4 days now. I will put a heater in it and let it heat up for about 6 hours and then go and buy the fish (guppies). Before I buy the fish, should I do a water change (i have tap water, so do I have to put water supplemtna and bacteria supplement again in the new water I will add or will that make it fog up again?)
Also, should I let the water that I will add in for water changes rest in another tank for about a day before I add it in? I am a first time fish keeper and need all the help I can get.

Salt water aquarium: All the fish are dieing one by one each day. Ammonia, Nitrite, nitrate are all good! ???

Tank set up for 2 plus months now, yes it’s established. First fish (Tang) died weeks after it was introduced, after last water change remaining fish began to die every day ie blue tang, saebe clowns etc. There are invertebrates i the tank but no Sea Apples or Cucumbers. This does not make sense!
