I have 3 red eared slider turtles, approx a year and a half old. They are growing quickly and I wanted to create an outdoor pond environment for them. I live in the panhandle of Florida. How do i set it up? What is required? Do I build a wall around the pond? Will I have to worry about predators, like hawks and racoons? How do I provide a safe environment for my kids’ pets but reclaim my living room from the massive aquarium?

i have a fresh water aquarium and had the water tested and found it had high phosphate levels the dude at the store was no help how do i lower these levels? I asked this question in pets but got no info so i came over here to the BIG brain people

My guppie is freaking out and smashing itself down on the bottom of the tank. I have three of them. One is really colorful, ine is sory of colorful and this one is pretty dull. They are feeder guppies that I have as pets. She is breathing hard and flaring her fins. What is wrong with her? Help me.
I’ve had my fish for three and a half weeks. I see no bumps on her or holes in her. She now looks like she is having little spasms. I took the other fish out of the tank.
I went to a pet store ans asked them about it. They looked at me like I was crazy and told me that they are called feeder guppies because they are supposed to be fed to other things. Pretty much, their advise was ‘Just put it back in the tank and see what happens’…. I think it’s going to die.

I just counted the pets I have and an shocked!
I have 10 goldfish, 1 cory, 1 dojo loach and 5 snails in a 55 gal fish tank
7 hermit crabs in a 29 gal tank
2 fire bellied toads in a 20 gal tank
1 childerens python in a 44 gal tank
2 cats (both fixed and loose in the house)
1 dog (also fixed and loose in the house)
I am a stay at home Mom with 3 kids and preg with #4, does anyone else have a mini zoo too?
