my beta fish having difficulty eating?
I feed him flakes made for betas. But he is having difficulty eating it..everytime he grabs a flake, he spits it out in pieces while chewing. I’m afraid he will starve or not get enough nutrients. He swims in a certain pattern around the aquarium plant to indicate that he wants food – that’s when I feed him.
What should I feed him? The flakes not working and I can tell from his behavior.
I have a fish in my freshwater aquarium that is about 4.5″ long and is striped with yellow and black.?
It likes to stay in the bottom and behind our tank decorations. it doesn’t eat the food that floats. it only comes out and grabs the algae wafer that I drop in and takes it to the back to eat it.
I just want to thank both of the users that replied to my question. I checked out the links on the 2nd reply I got and it looks like the striped liporus.
