Something cheap & strong…

p,s, i have very low ph water….around 6.0
Ii have 2 other tanks that they are more than welcome to go into after they have done the job of cycling the tank. That’s not a problem.

I have had a 20 gallon tank for a year now. Since I got it, nothing has stayed alive for more than a few months. I do water changes and I try to make sure everything is good in the tank. No matter what I do, most of the fish i put in there die. Recently, I have 1 male swordtail that i have had for a while, 1 loach for a while, and one female swordtail that i have had for a little over a week. At first, I added her and everything seemed fine. Now, she hides in a corner with her fins clamped. The male was acting fine until a day ago when he started acting similarly. Other than having to do a water change, what should I do to ever have a stable tank? Nothing I have ever done seems to help and it is making very fustrated.

I was thinking about something that will have color since the aust. arowana has few and something that will eat the remains of what the arowana tears apart(only dried shrimp and krill). just wanted to make a tank extraordinary….thanks

my tank is overstoked and my son has 2 angelfish, 2 pleco, 3 black skirt tetras, an upside down catfish, a sumo loach, a blue gouramie a yellow guppy 1glo fish and 4 columbian tetras in a 28 gallon tank. I didnt know this until i visited my sons room. hes 15 and sometimes after school he goes to the local fish shop and buys some fish . what can i do his angles will get huge please help any suggestions

I am not going to buy fish for sometime this is a freshwater tank☺☻
