I was at Petsmart and saw a 125 gallon kit which includes a stand, a biological cycler, a large heater, a very large marineland filter, and much more basically all i have to do is add fish, gravel, and decor for $480 is that a good deal?Anyway I really want it for my 2 growing plecos and there tankmates:
-6 red minor tetras
-7 neon tetras
-3 male guppies
-4 female platies
-9 female bettas
I was thinking of:
-2 plecos
-15 female bettas
-10 neon tetras
-10 red minor tetras
-7 male guppies
-4 female platies
-1 redtail shark
-3 angelfish
-6 cories
-4 killifish
-5 male swordtails
-6 kuhli loaches
-3 silver dollars
(Also this list includes the fish i currently have)
Is that too much?Any other fish you recommend would be nice.

What is the best set up for an aquarium?
Since my 8 year old goldfish is on his last fins, I will soon be redoing my tank. I have heard that tetras (mollys, neons, etc) are easier to take care of. Even with one goldfish, the tank gets dirty quickly (have filter and don’t feed too much)
Also, it is a 4 gallon tank. I know larger is better, but it is my parents house and I am limited on space. (They don’t want a large tank even though I take care of it).
Any ideas, or links to sites would be great.
Thanks!
The gold fish is about 2.5-3 inches and stopped growing several years ago.
Stress Zyme vs Prime?
My ammonia levels are very high and I do not know why. I do weekly partial waters changes, have a Bio Wheel filter, and my PH is good (7.0 ish) . I have had the tank for about 2 months. My fish seem to be ok for now but my poor wife will be devasted if something were to happen to any of them!
tank stats are:
20 gallon tank, with one clown loach, 2 serpae tetras, one guppy, 4 neon tetras, and one black molly. I have about 8 inches of fish so i do not think it is overcrowed.
What is the best way to treat this, Stress Zyme of Prime ? or possibly another method ?
I use Stress Zyme when I do water changes and i change my carbon filter every few weeks.
what can i do ?
Thanks! this site is great
