may i use salt for water set up for discus fish aquarium?

Just a short clip of my small guppy tank. Started out with 2 and now look what I have. I will try to get a clearer one posted soon

all my live rock has this hairlike green algae on it how do i get rid of this i was told to get new lighting and that would work but did not Any ideas???

HI, my father has/had lots of fish, mainly guppies and catfish and other i dont know their name. However, my father changed their water ( he knows the proceedure since he alway had an aquarium and these fish lasted for 3 yrs) and all of a sudden they started dying…one by one.. hmm no, 5 by 5 :. Could it be the heat of the water? it never happen that the water was a bit hot. i dont think they had a disease since they didnt have any spots or something. i dont know we got the survivors and put them in another aquairum but they are also dying pls give me guidlines!!
the only thing they do before they die, is that they swim abit side ways, and then they just die. the cat fish began to jump :s then they died too.

I have 5 goldfish in a 10 gallon tank. Is it too small? I’ve had them for around 3 months and I don’t see them growing at all. Can you notice growth in a goldfish within a month if you pet it right? I also have aquarium decorations, should I take them out to make more space for the fish?
sorry wrong word selection. what i meant by ‘pet’ is taking care of. I don’t play with my fish.
I give them enough food twice a day every day
