First I’ll give you some history:
I started a new community aquarium and I have a rather odd assortment of fish
Xanadu, my male betta
Pacino and Deniro, my two Koi angel fish
Qbert, David, and Goliath, my three zebra danios
Terrence, my red tailed shark
Lucy my corydora catfish
and then Brucie, my albino rainbow shark.
Now Xanadu I’ve had for awhile, but I let him into the new tank 3 days ago, then I got all the rest of my fish 2 days ago [minus Terrence because he was a gift from my brother yesterday]
So far they have an established heirarchy, with Xanadu at the top. Nobody messes with him, and then pacino and deniro are his little body guards, if my danios get near him, they chase them away. Brucie and lucy minded themselves and they wouldn’t start any trouble, and Terrence, when he joined wouldn’t either.
The first time I let brucie into the tank he was REALLY hyper, I mean he was like, all over the place, but yesterday I noticed he really wasn’t moving much, so I took a good look at him, he didn’t seem sick: No slashes or holes on his body, no marks or dots, and he wasn’t uber skinny either, but he looked a little bloated.
I just woke up about 2 hours ago and I didn’t check on them becuse I wanted them to get some more rest, but when I came into my room about 30 minutes ago, the first thing I saw was brucies body vertical. And I’m a little worried because I just now noticed that Xanadu isn’t as active as he usually is.
Please give me some suggestions on what I should do.
Another thing is that I know how much I’m supposed to feed them, I don’t think that is what killed him though, because I didn’t feed them much today on purpose.
Also, Xanadu is acting okay now.

I think it was water shock, now that I’ve read more into it, but you were right, My rts would’ve gotten him anyways.
Oh well.
And an update; pacino died too, but I knew something wasn’t right with him when I bought him.
All of the remaining fish are healthy and acting fine.

I just got two young angelfish aabout 6 hours ago and pput them into a 30g tank. I expected to see them happy but they just seem to sit at the top of the tank and do nothing. i tried feeding them but the food just floated infront of them without any reaction whatsoever from them. Im nervous they are sick and will eventually die. I just got this tank and im trying to stock it up. I have a VERY young oscar, 3 pictus catfish, a striped Raphael catfish, 3 tiger barbs, and two albino corydoras. Oh and a rubberlipped pleco. Are they ok. Im not sure how young exactly they are but they are only about 2 inches in height.

I have 4 Swordtails,4 guppys, 1 Albino Plecostomus, 1 Frog, and 2 Dwarf Gourami’s in a 55 gallon tank. I would like to know if you think that if I got a Ram cichlid it would be happy, Would you recommend only getting one Ram or more?. I dont know if this helps but all my fish are male, will they attack the Cichlid?
Also please give some suggestions of some middle-level swimming fish that are very colorfull and sold at the local pet store.

do clown loach , rainbow sharks, albino rainbow sharks, black moor goldfist electric yellow cichlid get along?

i have a 10 gallon tank with 3 albino cory catfish, i wanna add a ADF in it, will the frog get along with the BETTA???, also can i feed them shrimp pellets and frozen bloodworms for their main diet??, do they need plants in their aquarium? i know they need a hiding place for them to sleep….
