How to get rid of a heron? Its eating the expensive koi out of my pond!?
I have a huge pond in my backyard and so along with the big pond I also have hundreds of dollars of fish inhibiting it. Today I looked outside and I saw a heron eating away at 2 of my 100$ japaneese koi. These are rare, bright, delightful fish that I want to enjoy. I want this heron gone. Is it illegal to shoot it?

I want to clean my koi pond but don’t know how?
I live in the lovely humid state of Indiana. My pond is about 2-3 years old. I have a pump and lots of algea plus acuple fish. BUt it is starting to look drab and not beautiful anymore . I just don’t know where to start
