Hi,
What kind of algae and snail eating fish could go along with discus? Are their any that eat both algae and snails?

Ive noticed that my discus color have change to a darker color since I broght them home from the fish store. I was told they live in average 6.5ph water condition. I tried doing that several times but ph is still too high. Now water looks cloudy. Maybe I put too much of that PH down liquid but still too high. Does this have anything to do with my white sand? Maybe this white sand making my discus uncomfortable.

I have outdoor pond where there are some 3 inches Oranda Goldfish and also i have more than 50 Oranda’s fry in my ten gallon tank. I am just feeding hard boiled Egg Yolk and they are not growing fast, its been 2 months, now they are grew upto 0.5 (half Inch) only. I hear that Discus Fish breeders feed Beef Heart to Discus and their fry to make them big soon. Even i am thinking to feed Beef Heart to my Orandas and their fry to make them big soon. Is this safe for Goldfish? Does any one had try it? If you had then what was the result? Also how to feed Beef Heart, should we have to boil it before feeding?

I want to keep a collection of varied fish in my aquarium , but I don’t know can I keep this collection together ? because some fish attack to some others…..

ok so i want to start a aquarium. i don’t know what type of tank i can afford so i am thinking a 10 gallon? the fish i want to put in is 1 angelfish, 1 discus (maybe 2? i need help to know if this fish will be ok alone..) 2 blue coral platies, and i want 1 kuhli loach. this is what i need help with… first off, will 1 discus be ok in the aquarium? same question with the kuhli loach, will it be ok being the only species of its kind in the aquarium? my last question is; is there is enough room in the 10 gallon tank for all the fish i might have to be happy and healthy? which would be 5 fish if i do not need 2 discus’ and loaches, and 7 if i did need 2 discus’ and loaches. is that enough room? ty for your answers and best answer gets the points
from the answers i have so far i greatly disappointed. i guess 10 gallon is very small, what about 20 gallon? enough or not much better? i dont know about only the blue platies and loaches i want my aquarium to be colorful.. anyone have suggestions of colorful fish to add to the aquarium maybe that you have or have seen?
