Does anyone else share this fear? What is it called? I love to swim, though not at night, and not when I cannot see the bottom of the pool, like no rivers or lakes. I love all animals, espcially water animals (turtles, tadpoles, etc.) so it is not that. I would literally cut off my arm (i think) before I could walk through one of those tunnels at Sea World. Maybe it is the fear of being surrounded by water? Don’t know..please help!

I have “hair algae” growing in my aquarium. It is not regular algae, and I have no idea how to get rid of it. I have plenty of plecos in the tank and they keep the regular algae gone, but I have never had hair algae before. Plecos do not eat it, algae treatments don’t kill it, I keep picking it off anything I see it growing on, but can not get rid of it. I have had aquariums for 28 years, so am not a novice. I even checked with the pet shops I know I can trust and both of them have been in business for 25-30 years and the owners nor workers know of any way to get rid of it.

she likes to roll on clothes herself.
She becomes fierce if she sees my father’s fish in the aquarium.
