Do Clown Loaches like Weather Loaches shed?
My clown loach looks like his skin is sheading, I did not think they did this. Please help.

Yes they shed regularly it is okay only if they grow new skin. If they don’t medicate them.

Mine have grown a few inches over the years, and I have never seen them shed.
You said clown “loach”, I don’t know if you have more than one, or just one of them is sick.
They like to be in groups, tho.

I have owned clown loaches off and on for years and have “never” seen them shed any skin. It sounds like there might be something irritating his skin (loaches don’t have scales) and causing the problem.
I would start doing some research on clowns and diseases of scaleless fish to see what is wrong. Here is a good place to start:

Be careful with medications, loaches are very sensitive to medicines and can be killed by doses that do not harm scaled fish.
26 years of keeping and spawning many different species of tropical fish and cichlids. 25 tanks up and running at present (partial water changes done every week to 10 days).
