I have a common pleco about 2- 2.5 inches long and he has already cleaned all the algae that i can see, i read that you can feed them spinach and zuccini so i bought a bag of spinach how do i feed it to him? I crumbled it up and dropped it in but it just floats?

If you want to feed it veggies, use a weight to hold it down. I feed mine zucchini, cucumbers, melons, algae wafers and protein pellets. I also feed them flake food. I hold a pinch in my fingers, then dip it in the tank and swoosh it around so it sinks.

You can put extra fish food in the tank and the fish won’t eat it so it will sink to bottom and the Pleco will eat the fish food.
